1) Use the designated in-class binder with labeled tabs for keeping all in-class work

2) Use one of the many three-hole punchers available to keep all worksheets, rubrics, projects, etc. in the class binder

3) Use the designated take-home binder with labeled tabs for keeping all homework assignments, assignment notebook, spelling notebook & dictionary, math study links, and any study guides for tests.

4) Fill out the assignment notebook accurately so that assignments and due dates are noted correctly


1) Keep a neat and organized designated place to complete homework and store materials for assignments.

2) Use a corkboard or a designated spot that both parent/student are aware of to put papers that need to be reviewed or signed.

3) Use a dry erase blank board to create a to-do list -- erasing tasks as they are finished

4) Use a dry erase calendar board to keep track of long-term projects and events (book reports, etc.)

5) Keep a tray or 3-ring binder to store papers in one area to locate easily if need to review assignments
